Aloha Travis, it is good to meet you. I read the story your About Page took me to, and well done! Ho‘omaika‘i ‘ana (congratulations on the good you have achieved.) Yours is a story of rare self-awareness and discipline, and one where indeed, you created your life despite some very formidable challenges. I truly admire and respect what this blog shows you have accomplished.

Thank you too, for adding to my discussion on Ho‘ohana, and reminding us that we have choices; the sadness is in not uncovering them fully, for they are worthy of our exploration. I love that phrase of “Right Livelihood.” I have been told that Managing with Aloha reminds people of Buddhist teachings, and I must learn more about it.
